The Come Back Alive Foundation has handed over the Leleka-100 system to the air reconnaissance of the Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The reconnaissance unmanned system was received by the soldiers of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.
The charity organization made the announcement on social networks.
These drones can be used for reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment.
The drones can perform their tasks at any time of the day thanks to high-quality day and night optics.
The Leleka-100 system consists of 2 aerial drones and a ground control station.
The military also received spare parts, tools and other necessary consumables from donors.
“This UAV scouts and adjusts the fire of our artillery at any time of the day thanks to high-quality day and night optics. It rises to 2 km and “sees” to a depth of 50 km,” Come Back Alive Foundation adds.
For the most effective work, donors provided the crew of the Leleka-100 with following means of communication and power supply:
Therefore, the pilots will have more opportunities to find enemy targets, adjust fire on them and safely return the drone. The value of all the transferred is 1,592,034 hryvnias.
This is the 24th Leleka-100 unmanned aerial system, transferred by the charity fund to the Ukrainian military from July 2022.
“Last spring, we ordered 25 of them for 1,440,000 hryvnias each. Another company DeViRo gave to the army for free,” the Foundation notes.
