Russian Propagandists Accidentally Reveal UTS-800 Aircraft at Factory in Yekaterinburg

During the filming of the propaganda program Voennaya Priyomka at a factory in Yekaterinburg, part of the workshop containing military aircraft was blurred.

User SB noted this detail on the social media platform X.

The footage was filmed at the Ural Works of Civil Aviation production facilities in Yekaterinburg.

In the video about the LMS-901 Baikal light multi-purpose aircraft, the journalists attempted to conceal the company’s military products.

However, footage from the assembly workshop still shows at least two, and possibly three, fuselages of the new UTS-800 trainer aircraft in the background.

The UTS-800 is a Russian two-seat primary trainer aircraft developed by the Ural Works of Civil Aviation to replace the L-39.

The aircraft is powered by a VK-800SP turboprop engine and is designed to train cadets in basic piloting, navigation, and aerobatic maneuvers.
