Soldier of 31st Mechanized Brigade Rescued and Evacuated Wounded Soldier from Destroyed Dugout

A soldier of the 31st Mechanized Brigade rescued his comrade from the rubble caused by a fire in a dugout and evacuated him.

The incident occurred after a Russian drone strike, when the soldiers had not been in contact with the position for some time.

Intelligence reported a fire in the dugout, which occurred after an unknown explosive device was dropped from an enemy bomber.

Later, through the rubble and burnt logs, one of the soldiers signaled that he was alive.

It was decided to send help from another position. A soldier, risking his own life, got to the scene of the fire and rescued his wounded comrade from the rubble.

After that, he radioed in that he was ready to evacuate. The two soldiers moved to a place that partially protected them from the danger from the air.

The wounded soldier was provided with first aid and then evacuated for further treatment.
