Quantum-Systems Donates 100 Trinity Drones to Ukraine

German drone manufacturer, Quantum-Systems, has started the delivery of 100 Trinity drones.

According to the Deaidua website, the supplied drones have different configurations.

The delivery of these drones was announced in September 2023, during a meeting between Quantum-Systems CEO Florian Seibel and Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

The company works very closely with Ukraine, and in addition to the 100 Trinity drones that will be donated to Ukraine, it also supplies hundreds of Vector UAVs on behalf of the German government.

In November 2023, the company announced that it would start training Ukrainian drone operators in January 2024.

Ukrainian operators are to learn basic capabilities in deploying and operating Trinity drones.

As it is known, one of the three models that Ukraine will receive, will be the Trinity Pro, a mapping drone that takes off and lands vertically.

The Trinity Pro has a maximum flight time of 90 minutes, a C&C range of 5-7.5 km, and a max. take–off weight of 5.75 kg.

It is currently unknown whether the drones produced by Quantum-Systems will be used on the front line or for other combat missions.

But it should be noted that this decision primarily depends on the Kyiv City Council, which will receive these drones.

As Militaryny previously reported, Sweden and the United Kingdom have joined the Drone Coalition. This brings the total number of participating countries to four.

In particular, Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson announced this decision during a meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine on January 23 2024. The Drone Coalition was created by Ukraine and Latvia. The decision was made during the visit of Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprūds to Kyiv.

According to the Latvian Defense Minister, this initiative will help the Ukrainian military in a war where the use of drones has become an important element of combat operations.
