Ukrainian defense company SkyFall has unveiled its new Thor Hammer middle-strike drone in two versions.

The company shared details about the new strike UAV’s specifications with Militarnyi.

Currently, the Thor Hammer is available in two main variants—with ranges of up to 350 and up to 600 km.

The drone is already being used on the front lines. It can carry a 40–50 kg payload and reach speeds of up to 180 km/h. Depending on the configuration, the cost of a single unit ranges from 25,000 to 30,000 dollars.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that SkyFall had already tested a new middle-strike class attack drone on the front lines. At that time, its name had not yet been disclosed.

Thor Hammer

The Thor Hammer has a wingspan of 3.5 meters, a length of 3 meters, and a maximum flight altitude of 4,000 meters. The drone can be equipped with a daytime or thermal imaging camera, and the system’s deployment time is approximately 18 minutes.

To engage targets, the system is designed to use fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation, and other types of warheads. Launch is carried out via a catapult or a rocket booster.

This configuration allows the Thor Hammer to be deployed from both fixed positions and mobile launchers mounted on trucks or other vehicles. This makes it possible to quickly change position after launch.

Depending on the mission, the drone can be equipped with Starlink or other secure communication channels. The navigation system combines satellite, inertial, and backup positioning, which is designed to ensure continued flight even under active electronic warfare conditions.

Thor Hammer autonomously follows a predetermined route and transmits video in real time. As it approaches the target, the system alerts the operator, who makes the final decision on engagement.

After target confirmation, the drone uses artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms to automatically adjust its flight path. According to SkyFall, guidance can continue even after complete loss of radio or video communication.

The Thor Hammer’s key electronics are developed in-house by SkyFall. At the same time, the company’s R&D team is working on developing its own engines for middle-strike-class drones.

The drone is also integrated with SkyFall’s remote control system, which allows it to be operated from a remote location. The company provides mass production of the systems, proprietary software, training for operators and technical specialists, as well as round-the-clock service support.

By the end of the year, SkyFall plans to increase production capacity to 5,000 Thor Hammer drones per month. At the same time, the company is working on a new variant with a flight range of over 1,000 km.

SkyFall is also developing P1-SUN interceptor drones. In September, one of them destroyed a Russian Geran-5 jet drone during combat operations.
