Seven new water tenders based on the Ford 1833 CC 4×2 chassis have been handed over to the Ukrainian rescuers.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the units in the Ternopil region had received the vehicles.

New Ford water tenders were purchased with state budget funds.

Mounted on the basis of the Ford 1833 CC 4×2 chassis, these vehicles are equipped with the most modern equipment.

They will help employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine perform tasks aimed at protecting people and their property from fires and other emergency events in a quick and efficient way.

The vehicles are able to transport 5 tons of water and 500 liters of foaming agent to the fire site and will soon be part of the combat crew of the fire and rescue units of the region.

Rescuers were also handed 15 power generators and 30 heaters provided by patrons.

“In the conditions of war, when the enemy is concentrating its attacks on the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine and trying to deprive our citizens of power, heating and all the most necessary, this equipment will be used to equip points of invincibility,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine noted.

Besides, the equipment will serve as a heating system for the personnel of fire and rescue units during work at low temperatures.

As previously reported, in January it became known that a large batch of new POLYCAR fuel trucks was being produced for Ukrainian rescuers.

Such vehicles not only solve logistical tasks, but are practically mobile gas stations that can supply vehicles with fuel without being tied to gas station networks. Special equipment of this kind, such as fuel trucks, is in increasing demand, taking into account the complexity of the design and the production process.

The chassis ensures reliable and trouble-free operation. The FORD 1833 chassis became the basis for the installation of the structure. Due to its carrying capacity, FORD 1833 allows placing a tank with a volume of 10 m3.
