Poland Develops Alert System Based on Ukraine’s Experience

Poland’s Ministry of the Interior and Administration is testing a new mobile application designed to quickly alert the public about emergencies.

Deputy Minister Czesław Mroczek announced this during an interview with Polish Radio’s First Program.

The system’s main function is to inform citizens about the threat of air attacks and other crisis situations.

In addition to alerts, the app will provide recommendations on what to do in dangerous situations and help users find the nearest shelters.

In developing the system, Polish experts are drawing on Ukraine’s experience and plan to create a universal mechanism for warning the public about various types of threats.

Meanwhile, Poland’s Ministry of the Interior is developing an alert system that will send warnings directly to mobile phones, regardless of users’ phone settings or installed apps.

It is worth noting that Russia is planning drone and missile strikes against countries supporting Ukraine, including Poland.
