President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky offered Donald Trump a deal that Ukraine can provide the United States with “thousands of drones” if Washington allows it to use Tomahawk missiles.

This was reported by Sky News.

“That’s why we can work together, where we can strengthen American production. We have a big proposition for our drones,” Zelensky said.

Trump replied that the United States is interested in such a proposal, adding that the country is currently buying many drones from different manufacturers, and the Ukrainian defense industry produces very good drones.

The American president also said that Ukraine’s strikes deep into Russia would mean an escalation of the war.

But when asked whether his administration would allow Kyiv to carry out such strikes, the president said that Washington would discuss the issue.

A Ukrainian journalist suggested that Donald Trump provide Kyiv with Tomahawk missiles to level the playing field, given that Russia has been using similar missiles since 2022.

Trump calls this a “fair question” and jokes that this is “exactly what he told you,” pointing to Volodymyr Zelensky.
