MLS SHIELD armored vehicle: NGO Sprava Hromad is collecting 45 million for 11 vehicles

NGO Sprava Hromad (Community Issue – ed.), with the help of the Petro Poroshenko Foundation, is purchasing armored vehicles for the Ukrainian paratroopers.

Volunteer Yurii Biriukov called for fundraising.

Funds should be collected as soon as possible before the payment deadline.

UAH 45 million is needed for the purchase of vehicles.

The cost of purchasing the entire fleet of 11 armored vehicles is UAH 90 million.

The Poroshenko Foundation had already transferred UAH 50 million of this amount as an advance.

The NGO’s website describes a detailed algorithm on how to participate in fundraising to supply a Ukrainian Air Assault Forces battalion with advanced armored vehicles.

Each newly ordered 11 vehicles will have its name devoted to its own superhero: Hulk, Spider-man, Wolverine, Thor, Punisher, Iron man, Captain America, Deadpool, Ghost Rider, Rocket Raccoon, and Venom.

Armored vehicles have high characteristics of mobility, protection, speed, and adaptation to various tasks.

Negotiations on the procurement of the Italian-made armored vehicles lasted three months.

MLS SHIELD is a multi-purpose, universal armored vehicle, the body of which provides protection from 7.62 mm caliber bullets to the crew and troops placed inside. The gross weight of the MLS SHIELD can reach 13 tons. It has a 6-speed Alison automatic transmission and a powerful Cummins engine.
