The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to gradually liberate settlements of the Kherson Region.

Tavriyske village is now under Ukrainian troops’ control.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address.

“Today, the village of Tavriyske joins the list of liberated settlements in our country. There are certain successes in the Zaporizhzhya Region as well. Fierce battles continue on the streets of Severodonetsk. I am proud of our defenders, men and women, who have been able to stop the progress of these hostile people, these invaders, for many weeks and keep our defense strong,” Zelensky said.

At the end of May, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out another successful local counteroffensive.

Back then, the Ukrainian military hit the enemy positions in the Kryvyi Rih area, forced the Ingulets river in the Davydiv Brid area, and liberated several settlements.

According to the “Come Back Alive” Foundation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to maintain this bridgehead.
