The Russian units that entered Slavutych, Kyiv region on March 26th, are no longer in the city.
Yuriy Fomichev, the city mayor, stated this in his video address.
He shared that the Ukrainian city authorities do not cooperate with the aggresor.
“They did the job they wanted to do. Checked the city. Today they finished doing it and left the city premises. At the moment, they are no longer in the city”, claimed the Slavutych mayor.
The mayor addressed that he does not need any “humanitarian aid” from the russians and that the legitimate city authorities would be solving all the city’s problems on their own. He suggested that the National Police might return to the city to monitor the public order.
As reported earlier, on March 26th, 2022 ruscists, allegedly the divisions of the National Guard of russia, entered Slavutych. The Ukrainian citizens went out to the streets for a protest rally. The russians murdered three Ukrainians.
Slavutych is a city within the Kyiv Regional State Administration. It is a satellite city for the Chornobyl NPP that is located in the Chernihiv region.
