The Third Corps medics saved a victim of an accident while on vacation in London.
Sofia, Mivina and Rebecca witnessed the accident when their taxi was passing by the scene. Without hesitation, they stopped the car and began stabilization efforts.
The medics stopped the bleeding, applied a bandage and monitored the victim’s vital signs until an ambulance arrived, the Third Army Corps reported.
The man was seriously injured, but thanks to the professional actions of Ukrainian military doctors, he was stabilized at the scene.
After receiving treatment, the victim was promptly taken to a London hospital.
The soldiers of the corps were in the UK to take part in the presentation of a biographical film as part of the VARTA project.
“The medics have once again proved that they are always on guard for life – even far from the front. Tactical medicine is a fundamental, and Troika is always ready,” the corps said in a statement.
We emphasize that this is not the only case when the Ukrainian military save lives abroad.
Recently, while on vacation in Italy, a Ukrainian soldier saved a young man who had been stabbed.
