The Ukrainian military showcased the American Zuni air-to-ground rockets being launched from Su-25 attack aircraft.

Mazut SD Youtube channel published a video of the combat aviation of the Ukrainian Air Forces.

Ukrainian aircraft launched unguided aircraft rockets at the Russian invader’s positions by pitch attack.

The published video captures various incidents of Ukrainian attack aircraft using Zuni rockets which the United States transferred to Ukraine as part of military assistance.

The video features the attack aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine flying to the front line for a combat mission.

The Su-25 flight is executed at low altitudes to prevent the Russian radars from detecting them and not receiving enemy long-range air defense means.

To attack invaders in front of the line of contact with Zuni unguided rockets, the attack aircraft is performing launches in the pitch-up mode, meaning that the pilot increases the angle of attack and launches, causing the missiles to fly along the hinged trajectory.

These 127mm rockets are designed to engage ground targets, fortifications, and other objects and convoys of enemy equipment on the march. Zuni is launched from an LAU-10 rocket pod holding four rockets.

In January this year, the United States included 4,000 Zuni unguided rockets in one of the military assistance packages for Ukraine. In early May, the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a photo of a Su-25 attack aircraft armed with these rockets. Another photo was also published on social media.
