President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The meeting discussed the advancing of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and means of countering the enemy’s new weapons.

This was reported by the press service of the President.

The meeting was attended by ministers and heads of law enforcement agencies.

“The troops, who are now actively advancing, were fully equipped with high-precision weapons and everything necessary. In addition, plans were drawn up to counter new types of weapons used by the enemy,” the statement said.

The de-occupation of the entire territory of Ukraine was also amongst the topics of the meeting. The participants “decided on the actions necessary for the further de-occupation of the entire territory of Ukraine.”

As previously reported, Ukraine is actively working with partners to ensure that the military receives the necessary armored vehicles and tanks. Volodymyr Zelensky said this during an interview with the American CBS News.

“I think if we get tanks from the US, European allies will also help us to de-occupy Ukrainian cities with tanks,” he said.

As previously reported, Bundestag postpones vote on transfer of tanks and armored vehicles to Ukraine. The proposal was submitted for discussion to the Committee of Foreign Affairs.
