Explosions in Nova Kakhovka likely set ammunition depot on fire

Several explosions took place in Nova Kakhovka. It is assumed that an ammunition depot belonging to the invaders took the hit. According to preliminary information, the enemy suffered losses in equipment and manpower.

This was reported by the media and the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Some published videos show smoke from the fire.

“We can now say that there (in Nova Kakhovka) WERE several “definitely not ammunition and petrol depots” of the invaders. But that’s not for sure. Most likely, this is just another case of a famous Russian challenge called “Smoke near a depot,” the message said.

RIA Melitopol reports that invaders’ positions at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant suffered from the explosions and caught fire. According to available information, there are casualties among the Russian military.

“There are 44 dead orcs (Russians – Ed.) at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, and all the others are wounded and scattered in panic,” the report says.

It’s emphasized that up to 70 invaders were located there, as well as some air defense equipment and ammunition.

Previously, continuous explosions and fires at an ammunition depot were reported in the Russian-occupied city of Shakhtarsk in the Donetsk Region. The explosions began on the night of July 8 at around 2 a.m.
