Israel’s Ministry of Health Orders Hospitals to Prepare for War

Israel’s Ministry of Health has instructed the country’s medical institutions to prepare for war.

The Telegram channel Voice of Israel notes that this refers to possible hostilities that could last from two to four weeks.

Amid growing threats of direct confrontation with Iran, the Israeli headquarters for civil preparedness is maintaining public silence.

This policy of ‘silence’ is likely aimed at preserving operational secrecy or preventing panic.

There are no official explanations at this time, but Israeli citizens are already taking security measures on their own.

The healthcare system is also operating without unnecessary publicity: medical facilities are replenishing their supplies and updating their emergency response plans.

The country’s large hospitals are preparing to move their operations entirely to protected underground facilities if necessary.

War with Iran

At the end of February 2026, the United States concentrated the largest number of military equipment and personnel in the Middle East in more than 20 years.

Dozens of fighter jets, aircraft carriers, and escort ships arrived in the region, creating an unprecedented grouping in the Persian Gulf. This is happening against the backdrop of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program and after the harsh suppression of mass protests against the Ayatollah’s rule in the country.

The Donald Trump administration has repeatedly hinted at the possibility of large-scale strikes against the Iranian regime, increasing the risk of a local operation turning into a large-scale conflict.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stressed that during the negotiations, the White House is demanding not only restrictions on the nuclear program, but also control over ballistic missiles, an end to sponsorship of terrorist organizations in the region, and changes in Iran’s domestic policy towards its population.

At the same time, Iran declares its readiness to respond. In the event of strikes on strategic targets, the consequences could go beyond a local operation. Unlike in 2025, the current situation is much more complicated due to the scale of the American military group. Recently, it became known that the United States wants Israel to be the first to strike Iran.
