7th Corps and 68th Brigade Fight Off Russian Mechanized Assault in Pokrovsk Direction

Units of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces, together with the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, fought off a Russian mechanized assault.

Paratroopers and jaegers shared the video on social media.

The attack began in the morning, with Russian troops attempting to use adverse weather conditions to advance toward Pokrovsk.

The first unit of armored vehicles was destroyed by the 68th Brigade using an FPV drone. Ukrainian artillery and other units then engaged the remaining forces.

The Russians deployed armored vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles, some of which were destroyed.

The enemy columns advanced from the south toward the northern part of the city, where Ukrainian forces are defending.

Preliminary reports indicate that units of the 76th Division of the Russian Airborne Forces participated in the assault.
