The military from the 58th Separate Motorized Brigade repulsed another attempt to assault the Ukrainian positions by the invaders.

The corresponding video was published by the Brigade press service.

The assault was repulsed in one of the sectors where the Russians tried to seize the positions of the Ukrainian defenders with two infantry squads.

For this, the enemy sent two infantry fighting vehicles and one tank. The movement towards the positions of the Ukrainian military took place without conducting engineering reconnaissance.

The assault attempt was foiled after the destruction of one of the IFVs, which was probably blown up on a mine, as a result of which the entire crew and squad died.

After the explosion, the enemy tank was sent to the stricken IFV to help the survivors and wounded, but due to its proximity to the trenches of the Ukrainian defenders, it was hit on the side.

After the loss of two units of armor, the remnants of the enemy infantry began to flee the battlefield.

It should be noted that the brigade repuls the constant attempts of the Russians to carry out assault actions using a small number of personnel and the equipment involved.

As previously reported, on May 2, the press service of the Brigade published a video where the tank of the 58th Brigade fired at a column of Russians trying to seize Ukrainian positions.

The actions took place on the outskirts of the village of Urozhayne, the Donetsk region, where Russian troops attempted to seize the defensive positions of the military.

To organize the assault, the enemy allocated three units of armored vehicles, namely two infantry fighting vehicles and one tank.

At the same time, the 58th Brigade sent a T-80 tank, which promptly went into position to shell the enemy.
