Pontoon crossing in Darivka

Russians are trying to build a crossing over the Inhulets River in the occupied Darivka village in the Kherson Region.

Photos revealing the pontoon bridge were posted by Twitter user Special Kherson Cat.

The photo featuring the engineering construction of the rafters is located a few hundred meters from the concrete road bridge on the south side. The pontoon bridge is covered with tree branches. Several servicemen are visible on the pontoons, continuing work on the equipment.

As previously reported, on July 23, the Darivka Bridge was hit by shelling.

The occupation administration announced that HIMARS systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had hit the facility.

During July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine purposefully destroy the military infrastructure of the Russian invasion forces on the Right Bank of Ukraine.

After the destruction of the bridge across the Dnipro in Kherson, the invaders have the only connection left through Nova Kakhovka. However, the way to Kherson runs through bridges across the Inhulets River. Several of them are located in the occupied Kherson Region.
