The invaders continue firing at the border settlements of the Sumy region. This time, Russians launched a rocket attack on the territory of the Shalyhine community (Shostka district).

The information about the attack was released by Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

“At about 1.30 pm, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the territory of the Shalyhine community, Shostka district, from an aircraft,” he said.

According to Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, six missiles were fired at the community.

Information on damages and victims is currently being confirmed.

Yesterday, three communities in the Sumy region were shelled by Russian aircraft and artillery.

On 30 May, Russians shelled the Sumy region with flechettes-filled artillery.
