Putin had called back the charge of the industrial zone, since “we have to consider preserving the lives and health of the soldiers and officers.”

Militarnyi informs about it.

The Kremlin Head said this during a meeting with Sergei Shoigu, Russian Defense Minister, Ukrinform reports.

“I consider the proposed charge of the industrial zone inexpedient. I order you to cancel it. This is a case where we must think, that is, we must always think, but in this case what is more important is to preserve the lives and health of our soldiers and officers,” Putin said.

He added that it is not necessary to penetrate the territory of the object, but it is necessary to block it.

“There is no reason to penetrate through these subterranean pathways and beneath these industrial facilities. Block off this industrial zone so that a fly wouldn’t be able to get out,” he said.

Previously, Serhiy Volyna, Commander of the 36th Separate Marine Infantry Brigade, appealed to the world leaders to evacuate soldiers and civilians from Mariupol to a third state.

He added that among the soldiers, there are over 500 wounded. There are also hundreds of civilians trapped in the territory of the plant.

Svyatoslav Palamar, Deputy Commander of the Azov Regiment mentioned that the defenders of Mariupol consider Russia’s proposal to disarm and surrender unacceptable. They are ready to evacuate with small arms under third-side guarantees while taking along the wounded and the dead.

The Ukrainian servicemen continue to inflict equipment and manpower losses on the Russian occupiers.
