Meanwhile, the so-called governor of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, has not commented on the attack on his official pages.

The oil depot in Kozachya Bay on Cape Manganari is a strategic facility of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which supplies fuel to ships and military equipment.

The official operator of the terminal is the company Yugtorsan. The enterprise specializes in the reception, storage, and transshipment of light and heavy petroleum products.

The facility operates as a marine oil terminal capable of receiving tankers and rail tank cars.

The terminal’s capacity allows for the transfer of over 1 million tons of petroleum products per year, and the total capacity of the tank farm exceeds 40,000 cubic meters.

It is worth noting that the oil depot was last attacked on April 29, 2023.

At that time, the fire covered an area of 1,000 square meters, and the incident was classified as a Level 4 emergency. To extinguish the large-scale fire, the occupiers deployed 18 firefighting crews.
