Quantum Systems to Launch Two More Joint Ventures with Ukrainian Manufacturers

The German company Quantum Systems is strengthening its industrial partnership with Ukraine and preparing to expand joint production.

The company’s press service shared this information with Militarnyi.

An official announcement about the creation of the new ventures will be made during a high-level political meeting in Berlin later this week.

The parties plan to sign agreements to launch two additional joint ventures with Ukrainian manufacturers. These projects will be carried out under the Build with Ukraine initiative.

Details about the specialization and participants of the two new joint ventures will be disclosed at a later stage.

“Quantum Systems is a leading player in German-Ukrainian industrial cooperation. Our current joint venture, QFI, shows that production capacity in Germany can be set up within weeks, and the finished systems can then be delivered to Ukraine,” Matthias Lena, Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries.

The company already operates Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), the first German-Ukrainian joint manufacturing venture, established in partnership with Frontline Robotics.

The new production line will mass-produce the Zoom and Linza drones developed by Frontline Robotics. All systems manufactured in Germany will be supplied to the Ukrainian military in quantities determined by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

As part of QFI’s operations in Germany, production is being scaled up to 10,000 multi-purpose “Linza 3.0” quadcopters for the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces. The first batch of these drones was delivered to the customer at the end of March 2026.

Since the launch of the QFI joint venture, the Frontline Robotics team has been training and preparing personnel.

Quantum Systems has also been tasked with supplying 15,000 Ukrainian STRILA interceptor drones to the National Guard of Ukraine.

This became possible following its investment in the Ukrainian unmanned systems manufacturer WIY Drones, which produces these drones.
