A satellite image of the Russian Ivan Khurs reconnaissance vessel, showing traces of a possible hit, was published.

A photo of the ship was released on the Telegram channel of Kiber Boroshno OSINT researchers.

On the morning of Tuesday, March 26, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk reported that Ukrainian missile strikes on March 23-24 in Sevastopol damaged the Russian Ivan Khurs ship.

It is preliminarily known that it suffered damage to the reconnaissance equipment in the ship’s stern of the ship.

“As for the Ivan Khurs ship, we can confirm the damage to the reconnaissance equipment. That is, in fact, now it is not combat-ready, it cannot perform its intended tasks,” Pletenchuk said on FREEDOM.

In the afternoon, OSINT researchers of the Kiber Boroshno Telegram channel released an image comparing two satellite images: before and after a missile strike on Russian warships in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

The image from March 24 shows the damaged Ivan Khurs reconnaissance vessel.

The place where the missile hit is visible in the stern of the ship and the alleged site of the explosion is also spotted on the pier nearby.

This image actually confirms the previous information on Ukrainian missiles allegedly hitting this Russian ship.

Today, it was also reported that in addition to the Russian Yamal and Azov landing ships, a Neptune anti-ship missile also damaged the Konstantin Olshansky landing ship in Crimea.

The Ivan Khurs intelligence ship

The Ivan Khurs intelligence ship is the second Project 18280 vessel, constructed by Shipbuilding Plant Severnaya Verf JSC in St. Petersburg and designed by Central Design Bureau Iceberg OJSC.

The vessel is intended to provide communications, fleet command, and electronic warfare.
