This is the fourth naval mine to be defused off the coast of Romania.

Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, and Ukraine have neutralized approximately 40 mines in the western part of the Black Sea since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

As previously reported, at the beginning of December, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported the destruction of a naval mine in Odesa. The explosive device was brought to the shore by the storm.

Specialists conducted a controlled detonation of the detected mine.
