U.S. President Joseph Biden’s administration will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine on Tuesday, October 3, according to Reuters news agency.
Reuters informs on the issue referring to its two sources in White House.
Biden plans to allocate $625 million under the presidential write-off program — PDA (Presidential Drawdown Authority).
The package will include 4 launchers of the HIMARS missile system.
Ammunition (caliber and quantity not named), mines and demining vehicles will also be included to the package.
This is the first military aid package that the United States announces after the attempt of the Russian Federation to annex the occupied territories of Ukraine.
