A Ukrainian strike using Flamingo cruise missiles on June 27 damaged two buildings at the Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd, with parts of both structures destroyed.

Satellite imagery obtained by Militarnyi confirms the extent of the damage.

Titan-Barrikady is a strategically important enterprise in Russia’s defense-industrial complex and is part of the State Corporation for Space Activities “Roscosmos”.

The images show severe damage to two buildings on the enterprise’s premises. One of them was previously identified as the production building of Workshop No. 38, where the bulk of the manufacturing work takes place.

According to the plant’s promotional video, the workshop houses cranes, machine tools, and other equipment used in the production of launchers for Russia’s strategic missile systems.

The Titan-Barrikady plant is located approximately 400 km from Ukraine’s state border and is one of the few Russian enterprises capable of carrying out the full weapons production cycle – from design and research and development to large-scale serial manufacturing.

The enterprise is one of Russia’s most secretive defense manufacturers, producing components for the Oreshnik, Iskander-M, Topol-M, and Yars missile systems.

The plant also specializes in manufacturing large-caliber artillery barrels, including 152 mm barrels for the Msta-B and Msta-S howitzers.

Due to its direct role in supporting Russia’s military industry and its involvement in activities that have led to international sanctions, the plant is subject to sanctions imposed by the United States, the European Union, Japan, and several other countries.

The attack on the Titan-Barrikady plant took place during the night of June 27. For the strike, the Ukrainian Defense Forces reportedly used at least five Flamingo cruise missiles.

Footage of the missile launch was published on his social media account by Denys Shtilerman, the chief designer and co-owner of Fire Point.

Earlier in June, Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles also struck the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary, Russia.
