At least five Flamingo cruise missiles struck the Titan-Barrikady plant in Volgograd, which manufactures launchers for Russia’s strategic missile systems.

This was reported by Astra.

The facility is located 400 km from the Ukrainian border (48.78079150273448, 44.591066304016906) and is one of the Russian Federation’s most secretive weapons manufacturers, as it produces components for the Oreshnik, Iskander-M, Topol-M, and Yars missile systems.

The attack took place on the night of June 26–27. At least five Flamingo missiles were used; a video of their launch was posted on his page by Denis Shtilerman, chief designer and co-owner of Fire Point.

According to an analysis of photos and video footage by the OSINT community Dnipro Osint ⟨ Garbuz ⟩, at least three missiles struck the facility, hitting Workshop No. 2, the production building of Workshop No. 38, and one workshop of unknown purpose.

It is worth noting that Titan-Barrikady is a strategically important enterprise within Russia’s defense-industrial complex. It is part of the state corporation Roscosmos and is one of the few Russian enterprises that provides a full weapons development cycle: from design and research to large-scale production.

The plant is the primary developer and manufacturer of self-propelled launchers and support systems for the Topol-M and Yars strategic nuclear systems, as well as for the latest developments such as the Kedr and Oreshnik ballistic missiles.

The plant also manufactures ground equipment and launchers for the Iskander-M operational-tactical systems.

In addition, the plant specializes in the production of large-caliber artillery barrels, specifically 152 mm barrels for the Msta-B and Msta-S howitzers.

In addition to weapons, the company manufactures equipment for the oil and gas industry, mobile drilling rigs, and large-scale metal structures.

Due to its direct involvement in supporting the Russian military-industrial complex and violations of international security treaties, the plant is subject to sanctions imposed by the U.S., the EU, Japan, and other countries.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that on June 10, an FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile struck the VNIIR-Progress defense enterprise in Cheboksary, in the Chuvash Republic.
