During a month of combat operations in the Kharkiv region, the anti-aircraft missile and artillery division of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade shot down 89 enemy drones.
The brigade’s press service released a video report.
“The invaders were adjusting their artillery, hunting for our equipment, weapons, and personnel, and for this, they were eliminated right in the sky,” the statement said.
Among the targets downed were 9 Lancet loitering munitions, 6 Molniya-1, and 13 Molniya-2 drones.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed nine Supercam reconnaissance drones, their modernized version Skat 350M, four Zala drones, and the Orlan aircraft system.
Another 34 targets were small aircraft, and 11 were FPV drones. In addition, one Shahed-136 long-range kamikaze strike drone was shot down.
Interception of enemy targets was carried out using anti-aircraft drones of unknown type – fixed-wing or copters.
On March 23, it was reported that external pilots of the 414th Madyar’s Birds separate brigade of unmanned aerial systems shot down 33 enemy reconnaissance drones in the Kursk-Belgorod direction in 4 days.
The downed drones include 17 Zala 421s, 14 Supercam S350s, and one Tachyon.
In addition, Ukrainian pilots destroyed a rare and expensive copy of the Merlin-BP.
The interception was carried out using unnamed aircraft-type drones.
According to the brigade commander, 100 drones cost UAH 25 million, or UAH 250 thousand per drone (about USD 6 thousand). This unnamed model is not yet in service.
