For the second day in a row, terrorist attacks are being conducted on the territory of the unrecognized “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” (Moldova).

On April 26, 2022, 2 explosions were heard in the village of Maiac, Grigoriopol District. The unknown individuals had blown up 2 of the most powerful radio towers that were put out of order. Both were being used to rebroadcast the Russian radio.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of so-called Transnistria has reported that the first explosion took place at 06:40 am, and the next one at 07:05 am. One radio tower had the “megawatt” power, the other one – “half-megawatt”. None of the center’s staff was injured.

Previously, several explosions pounded the capital of the unrecognized “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” on April 25 at about 5:45 p.m. Explosions pounded the building of the “Ministry of State Security” and the branch of the Russian Federal Security Service in the Transnistrian region.

As a result of the incident, the building was damaged and the windows were smashed. On the street near the building objects in the form of tubes are laying. These are presumably used RPG-22 and RPG-27 hand grenade launchers.

Ukrainian intelligence notes that this case is one of a series of provocative measures organized by the FSB to escalate panic and anti-Ukrainian sentiment.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports that for days now, unrecognized Transnistria had been preparing for the “explosions” conducted by the FSB of Russia to justify the war on the territory of Ukraine or involve the Transnistrian region in the hostilities.
