On the night of July 13, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked an oil depot in the city of Mikhaylovsk in Russia’s Stavropol Krai.
Video and photos of the aftermath were published by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.
After a series of explosions at the industrial facility, the fire spread to the fuel tanks.
The strike hit the territory of the LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt LLC oil depot, which is located near the regional center in the area of the Vyazniki farmstead and Kolomiytseva Street.

Footage from eyewitnesses shows a massive fire and thick plumes of smoke over the affected area.
The oil depot is a key logistics facility in LUKOIL’s fuel network in southern Russia, supplying petroleum products for retail and small-scale wholesale distribution. Its grounds house 17 large storage tanks, 4 medium-sized tanks, and 21 small tanks.
This is not the first attack on this oil depot. On July 9, drones struck the facility for the first time, causing a fire that was accompanied by thick black smoke.
