DIU operators used drones to strike an enemy Su-24M frontline bomber in Crimea.

The successful strike was reported on the agency’s social media accounts.

The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

According to footage from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), the drone struck the aircraft with tail number 49.

The OSINT community Falcon Insight Map identified the location of the strike as the Saki airbase in Crimea.

The Su-24 is a Soviet supersonic front-line bomber with variable-sweep wings, which entered service with the Soviet Air Force in 1975.

The main production upgrade was the Su-24M, which is in service with both Ukraine and Russia.
