A Ukrainian drone disabled a diesel fuel deep-refining unit at the Tyumen Oil Refinery.

This is evidenced by satellite images of the attack’s aftermath, which were published on the Telegram channel Dnipro Osint.

According to analysts, a Fire Point FP-1 drone was used in the strike.

The drone had to travel over 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border.

According to the General Staff, the Tyumen Oil Refinery was struck on June 20.

The Tyumen Oil Refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in Western Siberia and has a capacity of approximately 7.5–9 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The facility produces diesel fuel, gasoline, and other petroleum products.

A recent drone strike also damaged key facilities at Russia’s largest gas chemical complex in Orenburg.

The FP-1 is a strike drone system developed by Fire Point, designed to engage ground targets at long range.

It belongs to the category of Deep Strike drones. Such UAVs are designed to strike targets deep behind enemy lines, far beyond the front line.

According to current data from open sources, the drone is capable of carrying a payload of 60 to 120 kg and striking targets at a distance of up to 2,600 km.

The drone can remain airborne for up to seven hours, reaching a maximum speed of 205 km/h, while its cruising speed is 140–180 km/h.

The FP-1 has a wingspan of 6 meters, a maximum takeoff weight of 215 kg, and is launched using a rocket booster or from a truck-based mobile platform.
