Militarnyi Reaches Partnership Agreement With Czech Military Outlet Armádní Noviny

Militarnyi and the Czech specialized military outlet Armádní noviny have concluded a partnership agreement.

The agreement follows several months of establishing contacts and practical cooperation.

Militarnyi and Armádní noviny have published dozens of articles produced through cooperation between the Czech and Ukrainian editorial teams.

The two media outlets say they share a common view on the need for strategic cooperation between Ukraine and Czechia to ensure security in Central and Eastern Europe. To that end, they intend to jointly shape the region’s information and analytical space.

Ukrainian and Czech media aim to lay the groundwork for a coalition of specialized outlets in the region that share a common vision of bilateral security cooperation, Europe’s strategic defense autonomy, and NATO unity.

“The stability of our region, which is a necessary prerequisite for economic prosperity, requires that no external actor be able to impose its political goals by military means. We believe that close cooperation between the Czech Republic and Ukraine can contribute to achieving this goal,” Armádní noviny founder and editor-in-chief Jan Grohmann said.

Militarnyi and Armádní noviny will continue to support each other in producing in-depth reporting on Ukraine and Czechia. In particular, access to primary sources and expert commentary is expected to enhance the quality of coverage.

“Ukraine and Czechia already have extensive cooperation. The Czech initiative has become a factor that significantly affects Ukraine’s combat capability, while Ukrainian orders have driven notable growth in the Czech defense industry. At the same time, we see how all of this is threatened by narratives hostile to our societies’ interests. We want to counter that with factual information and clear explanations,” Militarnyi’s co-founder Oleksandr Arhat noted.

Where possible, the editorial teams will promote relevant information about national manufacturers in each other’s media space to support mutually beneficial cooperation in the defense industry.

In May 2025, Militarnyi also signed a partnership with leading Polish military outlet Defence24.
