German company Quantum Systems has joined the Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence marketplaces, making its drones available for order by Ukrainian military units.

Quantum Systems announced the development on its LinkedIn page.

“Through the DOT-Chain Defence IT system, Ukrainian brigades can order 156 drone models from 25 different manufacturers – including our VECTOR system – with just a few clicks. With this decentralised procurement, frontline units are able to order systems ranked by their performance,” the company said.

According to Quantum Systems, Ukraine’s innovative approach enables frontline units to receive critical technologies quickly, without unnecessary bureaucracy, and in the required configuration.

At the end of September 2025, aircraft-type drones began appearing on the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace. Ukrainian Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal said the majority are reconnaissance drones capable of long-range operations and extended flight times.

“The assortment includes 12 models from eight Ukrainian manufacturers. The Defense Procurement Agency has signed contracts with these companies for supplies from existing stock and by pre-order,” Shmyhal said.

He added that work on the marketplace is ongoing, with plans to expand available products, including ground-based drones, electronic warfare systems, and loitering ammunition.

The marketplace allows combat brigades to order directly from manufacturers the technologies most relevant to their front-line operations. In its first month, the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace delivered 5,600 drones to the Ukrainian military, valued at UAH 216 million.

Quantum Systems in Ukraine

In June 2023, the company opened the Quantum Systems Service, Support, Training and Logistics Center in Ukraine with 25 local employees. In December, a Ukrainian Research and Development Center was launched.

In August 2025, company representatives told Militarnyi that Quantum Systems had launched a plant in Ukraine for Vector unmanned systems production in spring 2024.

By summer 2025, production increased from 40 to 80 drones per month at Ukrainian sites, with a high degree of local manufacturing.

Ukraine is also among the first countries to receive new Quantum Systems developments. It became the first user of Vector AI drones with artificial intelligence and the Stark Virtus acoustic system for detecting artillery and loitering munitions. The company also announced the Sparta FPV carrier drone to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
