Ukrainian missiles hit the Voronezh Semiconductor Device Plant, which is involved in manufacturing components for Russian weapons.

The Exilenova+ analytical group published video footage showing the aftermath of the strike.

Preliminary reports suggest that several Storm Shadow cruise missiles may have been used in the attack.

The enterprise is part of Russia’s military-industrial complex and produces electronic components for several types of weapon systems, including the Pantsir surface-to-air missile and gun system, Kh-101 cruise missiles, and missiles used in the Iskander-K system.

In the production chain of the Kh-101 missile, the plant manufactured electronic components, including transistor assemblies and matrices for the UVK-208 unit used in the missile’s systems.

It also participated in the cooperation network for producing the 9M727 cruise missile of the Iskander-K system, manufacturing and supplying semiconductor matrices for the Zarya-61M onboard digital computer.

In addition, the plant produced certain electronic components for the 72V6 combat vehicle of the Pantsir-S1 system and its variants, including diodes and transistor assemblies for the TVK-2 television guidance channel.
