In the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, a large batch of decommissioned military equipment—numbering approximately 300 units—has been put up for auction.
This information was revealed in an announcement on the official online platform GIS Torgy.
The total value of all lots exceeds $562,000.
The equipment is currently stored at a military training ground in the village of Petrovka, the Myasnikovsky district. Dozens of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, and army vehicles have been put up for sale.
The list includes 22 T-80 tanks, 5 T-64 tanks, 1 T-90 tank, 12 T-72 tanks, 6 T-62 tanks, 22 BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, 25 BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, 1 BMP-1KSH, 2 BRM-1K units, 1 BREM-L unit, 1 BREM-1 unit, 4 BTR-80/82 units, 1 BTR-80 unit, 1 BTR-50 unit, 11 MT-LB units, 1 ATS-59 unit, and 1 BTS-4 unit.
In addition, the auction features 1 KamAZ-43114, 2 GAZ-66s, 2 VAZ-2106s, 1 VAZ-2101, 1 VAZ-2121, 10 UAZ vehicles, 2 GAZ vehicles, 2 Desertcross all-terrain vehicles, and 1 MAZ.
All vehicles offered at the auction have been deemed unfit for further use for their intended purpose. They will be sold exclusively as scrap metal (ferrous and non-ferrous).
