A strike drone from the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment Luftwaffe hit a Russian cargo ship carrying ammunition in the port of Berdiansk.
The regiment published a photo of the strike on its official Telegram channel.
The attack took place at Berth No. 3, where the vessel was reportedly unloading cargo.
According to the CyberBoroshno monitoring community, the ship was struck at the same location that had been targeted the previous day.
On the night of May 30–31, a strike UAV from the 412th Unmanned Systems Brigade Nemesis of the Security Service of Ukraine also attacked a vessel in the port.
Berdiansk serves as a key Russian logistics hub in occupied southern Ukraine. Russia uses the port to unload military equipment, ammunition, fuel, and personnel transported by sea from Novorossiysk and other ports in the Sea of Azov.
As Ukrainian drones increasingly target Russian supply routes at distances of up to 205 km, maritime transport through Berdiansk has become a more secure and reliable logistics option than road transport, making the port an important military supply point.
