British military engineering equipment manufacturer Pearson Engineering and Ukrainian company Ukrainska Bavovna have signed a license agreement to repair and maintain equipment supplied to Ukraine.

Pearson Engineering announced this in a press release.

The new agreement is a development of the memorandum of understanding signed at the Defence and Security Equipment International exhibition in September 2025.

The agreement will support the provision of repair and maintenance services for systems, training for users of engineering equipment, and the further development of Pearson Engineering’s system support capabilities directly in Ukraine.

Pearson Engineering specializes in producing mine countermeasures equipment that is widely used in Ukraine.

In 2024, the British government ordered mine countermeasure equipment for Ukraine from Pearson Engineering.

The agreement covered the supply of multi-purpose interfaces for vehicles, enabling armored vehicles already in Ukraine to use mine ploughs transferred by the British Army and repaired by Pearson Engineering.

These interfaces expand the functionality of Ukraine’s armored fleet, enabling the use of a wider range of engineering equipment designed to overcome obstacles.

“The development and supply of this type of equipment to save lives is the core of Pearson Engineering’s activities. We have delivered over 3,000 mine ploughs of various types worldwide and are continuously investing to counter modern threats as they evolve,” Anna-Lee Reilly, head of DE&S Strategic Capabilities, Engagement and Operations division, stated at the time.

In addition, Pearson Engineering mine ploughs are integrated with German Wisent 1 mine-clearing vehicles that were transferred to Ukraine.
