British Soldier Killed in Ukraine – First Official Case in the War

A member of the British Armed Forces was killed in Ukraine during a test of an unknown weapon.

The incident occurred on the morning of December 9 during the testing of an unnamed weapon system, far from the front line.

The Ministry emphasizes that the death was the result of an accident, not a Russian strike.

The name, military rank and position of the deceased were not disclosed.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and other official structures have not yet commented on the situation.

This is the first officially confirmed case of the death of a British serviceman on the territory of Ukraine.

According to open sources, 44 British citizens who fought in international units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been killed since the beginning of the full-scale Russo-Ukrainian war.
