Brave1 launches fast-track membership for defense companies

The Brave1 Cluster, which promotes the development of military technologies in Ukraine, has launched the Brave1 Club initiative.

It simplifies joining the ecosystem for stable companies and manufacturers that do not need grant support, the Brave1 press service reported.

“In order to counter the Russian military-industrial complex, we need to join the efforts of the entire market, including companies with developed R&D and established production. The Brave1 Club creates a single platform for industry leaders to coordinate innovations and promote technological breakthroughs,” Brave1 stated.

According to the cluster, among the more than 100 people willing to join are Perun, a manufacturer of attack drones, Vinnytsia Bees, a company that produces interceptor drones, and Skiftech, a developer of laser training simulators.

Brave1 Club members receive:

• access to range and combat testing of technologies;
• cooperation with military units;
• the opportunity to present products on the Brave1 Market;
• attracting investment and support in creating joint projects with foreign partners;
• participation in private chats, events, and networking with other members of the ecosystem.

“The Brave1 Club opens up all Brave1 opportunities to manufacturers of ready-made defense solutions, except for grants. The procedure for joining is as simple as possible – just apply online,” the cluster said.

Brave1 is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industry and the Ministry of Economy aimed at bringing together leading developers and the military for effective cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Defense Forces can formulate specific tasks for developers, and companies receive specialized support and grants to develop their products.

Since the start of the program, Brave1 has issued more than 500 grants to support Ukrainian defense technologies.

Manufacturers of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as developers of land and sea robotic and remotely controlled systems, received the most funding.

In total, Ukrainian defense tech companies have raised UAH 2.2 billion for their projects.

This year, the Brave1 Market, a marketplace for defense products for the military, was also launched in Ukraine.
