Satellite images have confirmed extensive damage to the arsenal of the Russian Federation’s 1060th Logistics Support Center in the village of Bolshaya Izhora, Leningrad region, following a strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

This was reported by analysts at Exilenova+, who released the results of their follow-up reconnaissance of the facility and compared new satellite images with those taken before the attack.

The published collage shows the destruction or significant damage to a number of structures within the complex used to store missile weapons, ammunition, and military equipment. Only traces of ruins remain where individual buildings once stood.

The most noticeable changes were recorded in the central part of the facility, where analysts noted a significant burn zone. It was there that a secondary detonation and fire were observed following the strike.

In addition, further reconnaissance indicates damage to several storage areas and the arsenal’s auxiliary infrastructure. In the images labeled “before” and “after,” the disappearance of individual structures and changes in the terrain’s relief are visible.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously confirmed the strike on the arsenal of the 1060th Logistics Support Center, which houses a complex for storing missile weapons, ammunition, and military equipment.

Following the attack, explosions, secondary detonations, and a fire were recorded on the facility’s grounds.

The strike was part of a large-scale operation on the night of June 6, during which Ukrainian forces also attacked the Kronstadt naval base, oil depots, and other logistical facilities deep within Russian territory.

The 1060th Logistics Support Center is one of the Russian Army’s key logistics units. Following the reestablishment of the Leningrad Military District, it supplies units stationed in the northwestern part of the Russian Federation.

Located directly in Bolshaya Izhora is the former 15th Navy Arsenal, which, following reorganization, became part of the 1060th Logistics Support Center as a comprehensive storage base for missile, mine, and torpedo weapons.

Open sources indicate that the facility was used for the storage, maintenance, and repair of various types of ammunition, as well as military equipment necessary to support the operations of Baltic Fleet units and other formations of the Leningrad Military District.

New Exilenova+ satellite images indicate that the consequences of the strike may have been significantly more extensive than was apparent immediately after the attack.

At the same time, a final assessment of the damage inflicted can only be made after additional remote sensing data becomes available.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported on strikes against other major Russian arsenals, including the 107th GRAU arsenal in Toropets, the 67th GRAU arsenal in the Bryansk region, and the 51st GRAU arsenal near Kirzhach.

The strike on the facility in Bolshaya Izhora marks yet another confirmed instance of damage to critical ammunition and weapons depots deep within Russian territory.
