Ukrainian military neutralized enemy’s armored vehicles near Vuhledar

The Ukrainian military defeated one more armored unit of Russian in the Vuhledar direction.

Footage with neutralized armored vehicles was shown by Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation.

It is reported that these are the results of the operation of the 21st Separate Battalions together with the 55th Artillery and 72nd Mechanized brigades.

Drones acquired at the expense of the UNITED24 project benefactors aided the troops throughout the battle.

“Thanks to the DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo and DJI Matrice M30T “birds” the military saw a convoy of Russian technique in time, transferred the coordinates of the artillery, which accurately worked out,” said Mykhailo Fedorov.

The released footage shows the destroyed Russian BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle.

In total, the Ukrainian military managed to damage two BMP-3, a BTR-82А armored personnel carrier, and one Т-80BV tank. Therefore, the Russians left this technique on the battlefield.

Vuhledar

Today, Vuhledar is the southern fortress of the eastern front and the site of fierce hostilities.

Russians are constantly attempting to invade the city, but the Ukrainian military repels these attempts.

The battles for Vuhledar began in November 2022. Then Russia threw into battle the 155th and 40th Marine Brigades, reinforced by other units.

After several attempts, they managed to capture the village of Pavlivka in the south of Vuhledar, but they didn’t succeed in entering the city – the settlement was located on high ground and it was not easy to approach it. Almost two months later, Russian attempts to take Vuhledar resumed.

Recall that recently the Ukrainian military in the Donbas defeated Russian marines and took prisoners from the 155th Separate Guards Marine Brigade.
