The US Air Force has launched a precision strike on a Houthi gathering in western Yemen.
The footage of the air force’s combat work was released by US President Donald Trump.
The footage shows several dozen people lined up in a ring, who were then struck.
It can be assumed that they were killed or injured in the strike.
Trump claims that at that moment they were receiving instructions to attack ships in the Red Sea.
“Oops, there will be no more attacks from these Houthis! These Houthis will no longer be able to sink our ships,” Trump said.
The Middle East Observer claims that the attack was carried out on civilians who were celebrating the end of a religious holiday.
However, official Houthi sources have not commented on the attack. The latest Houthi statement claims that they managed to shoot down a Giant Shark F360 reconnaissance drone over Yemen.
Also, the day before the strike, Ansar Allah’s media published footage of various similar mass gatherings of their fighters with weapons.
According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), the attack was carried out with the help of fighters based aboard the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier.
It is currently in the northern part of the Red Sea. Their targets are command posts, the places of accumulation of manpower and weapons depots of the Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement. According to the US command, this should help restore free navigation.
The United States is also deploying another aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East, led by the USS Carl Vinson.
