Rheinmetall estimates the market demand for its KF41 Lynx IFV at more than 6,000 units, with the highest demand expected from the United States.

This was stated by the company’s CEO Armin Papperger during a speech at Capital Markets Day, hartpunkt reports.

The total potential demand is estimated at 6,148 vehicles, with the US and Italy accounting for almost two-thirds of this volume. In particular, the US market can provide orders for up to 3,800 KF41 Lynx.

Italy can order up to 1,050 Lynx combat vehicles. Other countries, including Ukraine, Romania, Greece, Brazil, and Indonesia, estimate their needs in the range of 143 to 300 units.

As a reminder, in 2023, the US Army selected companies to participate in the OMFV program to replace Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
