The United Kingdom has supplied Ukraine with over 85,000 drones in the first half of 2025 as part of its military aid.

This was announced on the government’s official website.

Officials highlighted that this achievement was made possible through the accelerated production by British companies and the support of jobs in both nations.

Defense Secretary John Healey stated that this year, the United Kingdom invested £600 million to accelerate drone deliveries to the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The shipments included, in particular, tens of thousands of FPV drones, which are of great importance on the battlefield.

The statement clarified that the drones provided by Britain are being used for precision strikes, reconnaissance, and intercepting Russian drones.

“Putin’s dangerous escalation in Ukraine and across Europe must be accompanied by an increase in drone production and the strengthening of NATO’s air defense,” Healey stated.

Last week, Britain announced that it had delivered hundreds of Martlet missiles to Ukraine several months ahead of schedule. This weapon has enhanced air defense capabilities in response to ongoing Russian drone and missile attacks.
