Russians have set up a control center in the Moscow City business center to manage drones that strike Ukraine.
The Insider found this out from the reports of the propaganda media outlet RIA Novosti, which were later isolated.
Thus, on the morning of April 15, RIA Novosti published two posts on its Telegram channel, which indicated that drone operators attacking the territory of Ukraine were sitting in one of the towers of the Moscow City business center.
The first message stated that “an FPV strike drone controlled from Moscow has hit a Ukrainian Defense Forces facility in Chasiv Yar for the first time at an ultra-long range.”
The second propagandist post stated that the drone, which was controlled from Moscow, was prepared for departure by the Espanyol brigade, which was stationed near Chasiv Yar in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region.
A video showing the process of coordination of the invaders was also published. Both Telegram posts were deleted within an hour and a half.
“The commander hit the target while sitting in Moscow City,” one of the operation participants shared after the explosion’s demonstration. “The operator feels safe, he does not feel any psychological pressure,” another man in the video explains the advantages of remote control of drones.
It is stated that the drone was operated by Spaniard (Stanislav Orlov), commander of the Espanyol brigade. Who, while staying “in a rented apartment in Moscow City,” was flying the Ovod drone.
The drone was allegedly controlled by the Orbita software and hardware system, which allows the operator to be anywhere.
It is alleged that the publications of propagandists from RIA Novosti caused outrage among the so-called Russian z-bloggers, which led to their removal.
“Did I understand correctly that after this video, if a kamikaze drone flies over skyscrapers in Moscow, the enemy will claim that it hit the UAV operators?” one of the ”military officers” wrote.
Back in 2023, drones flew to Moscow City and hit buildings due to Russian electronic warfare and air defense systems. And the Russians claimed alleged attacks on civilian objects. However, the case presented above once again confirms that the Russian invaders use any objects and locations to attack Ukraine and that they do not understand the concept of a “civilian object.”
