The United States sees no obstacles to the supply of foreign weapons for Ukraine.

This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby during a briefing on May 5.

This is being confirmed by the daily successful supply of American weapons and armory to Ukraine, the Pentagon said.

“The shipments of supplies and weapons and materiel going in, that continues every day, including today, and we’ve seen no indication that flow has been impeded,” said John Kirby, a spokesman for the US Department of Defense.

American weapons are handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to confront the Russian invaders.

In particular, the United States is shipping the 155-mm M777 howitzer systems to Ukraine.

155-mm M777 towed howitzers are part of a new package of military aid to Ukraine.

Besides, it includes 144 thousand munitions and artillery tractors for transporting the howitzers and other equipment.

According to the Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, as of May 5, the supply of M777 howitzers is almost complete, with “over 80 of them out of 90” scheduled for delivery already being in Ukraine”.

The United States is moving as quickly as possible to provide Ukraine with long-range fire capabilities.

According to Lloyd Austin, U.S. Secretary of Defense, long-range fires will be decisive in this next stage of the fight with Russia.

Ukraine might be interested in a number of American weapons that could hit targets at a much greater distance.
