Pair of MT-LBs and Motorcycles: 7th Airborne Corps Repelled an Attempted Assault Near Myrnohrad

On October 13, in the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces, the invaders failed an attempt to assault with armored vehicles and motorcycles.

The attacks were aimed at the positions of the Ukrainian military near Myrnohrad, according to the corps’ official social media.

The enemy launched two synchronized attacks on units of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The assault was planned from different directions, involving armored vehicles and mobile groups.

From the east, the enemy tried to break through with two MT-LBs. Almost simultaneously, four motorcycles with personnel tried to break into the city from the north.

Both attacks were repelled. Units of the 7th Airborne Corps in cooperation with adjacent forces destroyed enemy equipment. The liquidation of nine invaders was confirmed.

According to the unit, in recent weeks, Russian troops have been amassing armored vehicles in the Pokrovsk agglomeration area. It is likely to be used for further assault operations.

For several months, the enemy used infiltration tactics, avoiding direct fire contact. The assaults were single, without the use of equipment and no more than five per day.
