Infozahyst has developed a powerful MINERVA broadband receiver for radio monitoring and reconnaissance for the military.
Yaroslav Kalinin, CEO of Infozahyst, shared details about the new development in an interview with Militarnyi, which is now available on the Patreon and MonoBase platforms.
The MINERVA is designed to search for, detect, and classify radio emission sources in the 0.15–18 GHz frequency range with a maximum instantaneous bandwidth of 400 MHz.
This means that the MINERVA can ‘hear’ a vast number of different types of radio signals—from relatively low-frequency military communications to high-frequency radars.
The receiver provides radio interception, data recording, storage, and analysis, as well as the transmission of information to a remote control center.
Its functions include the detection of signals from radar stations, telemetry, and telecommand systems, as well as their recording, technical analysis, and geolocation, which enables the technical identification of objects.
The MINERVA also supports video channels, VHF communications, and satellite communications. The developers position it as a more affordable and modern alternative to Spektran and a number of foreign counterparts.
